The room your child would join
You walk into the classroom while children are in the middle of their day. Look at the shelves and the materials within reach of small hands. Step outside to see where the outdoor play happens.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room your child would join. Ask how the day is paced, from arrival through the afternoon. Ask what the first weeks look like for a child who is new.
Your questions
Bring your questions about hours, meals, pickup and tuition. Write them down so nothing slips your mind. If we do not have an answer on the spot, we follow up with you afterward.
Before you come
A tour works best when your child comes along. They can see the room, touch the shelves and meet the teacher who would greet them each morning. Tell us what your child likes and what unsettles them. We serve children ages 3-5, and our preschool runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Ask about the daily hours and how pickup works. Ask about meals, rest time and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how you will hear about your child's day and what happens when a child is unwell. Write your questions down before you come so you do not forget the ones that matter most.
